The Herbert Museum and Art Gallery is Coventry's main art gallery. Collections include visual art and archaeology, alongside temporary installations and exhibitions that change throughout the year. The Herbert is undergoing a £20 million redevelopment set to provide new permanent and temporary exhibition galleries. A new History Centre that will house archives documenting the history of the city. Admission to the Herbert is free.
